Sorry.  Comment "s1:345:respawn:/bin/sh /usr/bin/fax answer" still could
not solve the problem.  The modem was locked.  (As ROOT, no problem)

Test result as follows;
KDE desktop
Konsole terminal

$ fax send 28382035 /home/satimis/print.ps.001

fax: version 0.9001114a7 (30 Jan 2002)
Now sending fax to T28382035

Casas

It hanged here.
