CWIT 2001 - Final Program

Reception and Registration

An Introductory Reception will be held from 6:00 - 8:00 PM on Sunday, June 3, in the Fireplace Lounge of the Gage Building (5959 Student Union Blvd.) on the UBC campus. The workshop registration desk will be open at that time, as well as on Monday, June 4.

Locations

  • Technical sessions will be held in Room 1005 of The Forest Sciences Centre, 2424 Main Mall, UBC.
  • Lunches and refreshments during the coffee breaks will be served in the lobby of the Forest Sciences Centre.
  • The Workshop Banquet will be held at the UBC Botanical Garden, 6804 SW Marine Drive, UBC Campus. Prof. Ian Blake has graciously agreed to be the Banquet Speaker.
  • The Canadian Society for Information Theory will hold its General Meeting on Tuesday, June 5 from 5:30 to 6:00pm in Room 418 of the Electrical and Computer Engineering (MacLeod) Building, 2356 Main Mall. Everyone is invited to attend.
